Erie Shore Vineyard
Erie Shore is one of a dozen wineries in Ontario's Lake Erie North Shore wine region. Owners Harvey and Alma Hollingshead use only their own grapes to make a range of well-priced wines, and this ice wine shows what they can do. It has the typical icewine flavours (tropical, mango, peach, apricot) with honey notes, and it has a spine of clean acidity that cuts through the natural sweetness very effectively.
